CHURCH
Our mission, our values and our people. More than a church, a community built on faith and connection.
What if church looked less like a Sunday service and more like a community?
As well as being a charity and a cafe, Kahaila is also a church.
- We are people who earnestly desire to emulate the life and teaching of Jesus Christ.
- We are about relationship not religion, about fullness of life not legislation.
- We are committed to live life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
- We do not have all of the answers, so we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us into the likeness of Jesus.
- We believe that the Bible is the most life transforming book of all time, in it we believe the true character of God is revealed.
- Our desire is to discover more of who God is through scripture and let that transform the way we live.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us at any of our gatherings.

What's on during the week

wednesday | brick lane
You can join us at 6:30 pm every Wednesday at Kahaila Brick Lane. We meet during the week to do church, and this is an amazing opportunity to create fellowship, contemplate, reflect, explore, worship, and grow together.

House Church
An informal meeting of exploring the word together and build fellowship on the weekends. Contact us for more information.

Alpha Course
Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. At each Alpha session, you’ll be hosted in a small group and watch an episode on a different question of faith – then you have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all.
a space where everyone belongs
Whether you’ve been part of a church your whole life or have never set foot in one, everyone is more than welcome.
OUR VALUES
BELONGING
Kahaila is a place where all people belong regardless of what they believe.
COMMUNITY
Kahaila is a community which means we want to put other before ourselves.
SERVING
We believe in every member ministry, therefore we understand that God has a purpose for each one of us, so we are here to help each other to fulfil that purpose.
FAITH
We seek to live by faith – we do not want to be limited by our circumstances or paralysed by our fear.
GENEROSITY
We believe in generous giving – we want to be generous with all things, our finances, our time and our resources.
Our projects and the church exist and survive due to the generosity of people.
Giving your money, your time or your expertise could make a great difference to the work that we do. If you feel able to give financially, there are two ways you can give; you can click below or, if you prefer, you can make a donation in person at our Brick Lane Cafe. Thank you.
