For the next Kahaila Hope Session we are teaming up with the LIFT campaign to bring you an alternative Jack the Ripper Tour and an insight into street prostitution in East London.
Ever wondered 'Why do women work the streets? Is prostitution legal? Should it be legal?' What is the difference between trafficking and prostitution? How much does it actually happen round here?'
This is your chance to ask an expert panel any thing you like about the issues surrounding prostitution. We'll also be hearing stories from some women themselves and tasting samples of baked goods made by a social enterprise helping women to have an alternative income to working in prostitution. This event coincides with the international day for the elimination of violence against women and girls.
7.30pm - 10.00pm
Tickets £3.50 in advance £5 on the door and includes a complimentary Kahaila coffee to keep you warm on the tour!
