As well as being a charity and a cafe, Kahaila is also a church.
We are people who earnestly desire to emulate the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. We are about relationship not religion, about fullness of life not legislation. We are committed to live life under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We do not have all of the answers, so we rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us into the likeness of Jesus. We believe that the bible is the most life transforming book of all time, in it we believe the true character of God is revealed. Our desire is to discover more of who God is through scripture and let that transform the way we live.
On Sunday mornings, at 11am, we have a house church that meets in the area of Forest Gate, with kids church as well.
If you’d like to join in, please sign up to our newsletter by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Not on the first Sunday of each month, when we meet at HUSK in Limehouse for Kahaila Unite.
We have a church service that meets at 7pm on Wednesday evenings at our Brick Lane cafe, where everyone is always welcome! The service provides an opportunity to discuss, to contemplate, to reflect, to explore, to worship and to grow.
For more information, please email Andy.
On the first Sunday of each month, we have Kahaila Unite where both services come together. As part of our gathering we will have a bring-and-share meal together.
We meet at Husk in Limehouse.
The next meeting will be February 3rd at 11am.
Small Groups meet throughout the week, and allow us to build friendship and community at a deeper level. They are a place in which we can be honest and be truly known.
To join a Small Group, or to find out more, please email Andy.

Kahaila is a place where all people belong regardless of what they believe.
We seek to live by faith – we do not want to be limited by our circumstances or paralysed by our fear.
Kahaila is a community which means we want to put other before ourselves.
We believe in generous giving – we want to be generous with all things, our finances, our time and our resources.
We believe in every member ministry, therefore we understand that God has a purpose for each one of us, so we are here to help each other to fulfil that purpose.
Our projects and the church exist and survive due to the generosity of people. Giving your money, your time or your expertise could make a great difference to the work that we do. If you feel able to give financially, there are two ways you can give; you can click below to set up a monthly donation via Direct Debit or, if you prefer, you can make a donation in person at our Brick Lane Cafe.
